Privacy Policy

How we handle the information you share with us, and the terms on which this website is provided.

Last updated: 30 July 2026

1. About this policy

This policy explains how Legal Lions Attorney & Solic Pvt. Ltd. (“the Firm”, “we”, “us”) handles information you share with us through this website, our enquiry forms, WhatsApp, email or telephone. Please read it before sending us any information about yourself or your matter.

2. No advertisement or solicitation

Advocates in India are not permitted to advertise or solicit work. This website is not an advertisement, and nothing on it is an attempt to solicit clients or an inducement to instruct us. It exists only to provide general information about the Firm to those who choose to seek it. By continuing to browse, you confirm that you are accessing this website of your own accord, that no part of it has been communicated to you as an advertisement, and that you wish to know more about us for your own information.

3. No legal advice, and no lawyer–client relationship

The content on this website is general information, not legal advice, and must not be relied on as a substitute for advice on your own facts. Law changes, and information here may not be current.

Sending us an enquiry, an email or a WhatsApp message does not by itself create a lawyer–client relationship. That relationship begins only when we have checked for conflicts of interest, confirmed in writing that we are willing to act, and agreed our fees with you. Until then, please do not send us confidential documents or anything time-sensitive, and never rely on this website to protect a limitation period or a filing deadline.

4. Our services are not free

We do not offer free legal advice, free consultations, free case reviews or free document drafting. Every consultation and every matter we take on is a paid, professional engagement.

  • Fees are quoted and agreed in writing before any work begins. Many matters can be handled on a fixed fee; where that is not possible we give you a clear estimate and tell you if the scope changes.
  • Court fees, filing charges, stamp duty, travel and other out-of-pocket expenses are additional to our professional fees.
  • An initial consultation is chargeable. Booking one is not a commitment by us to accept your matter.
  • We never ask for payment through a personal UPI ID, a personal wallet or an unverified link. If you receive such a request in our name, treat it as fraudulent and contact us on the numbers below.

5. Information we collect

  • Information you give us — your name, phone number, email address and whatever you choose to tell us about your matter through our enquiry form, WhatsApp, email or a phone call.
  • Documents — any records, orders, agreements or correspondence you send us in connection with a matter.
  • Technical information — standard server and analytics data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and time of visit.

Please share only what is needed at the enquiry stage. Do not send Aadhaar numbers, bank details, passwords or medical records through the website; we will tell you the secure way to provide anything sensitive once you are engaged as a client.

6. How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry and assess whether we can act for you.
  • To run conflict-of-interest and identity checks before accepting a matter.
  • To provide legal representation, advisory and consultancy services once engaged.
  • To raise invoices and maintain our accounts.
  • To meet our professional, statutory and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.

7. Confidentiality and privilege

Everything a client tells us in the course of a professional engagement is treated as confidential and, where the law so provides, is protected by legal professional privilege. Enquiries from people who do not go on to instruct us are kept confidential too, but please note that privilege as such attaches on engagement — which is why we ask you not to send confidential material before then.

8. WhatsApp and other third-party services

Our enquiry form can open WhatsApp with your message pre-filled so it reaches us immediately. If you send it, your message travels through WhatsApp and is subject to their terms and privacy policy, not ours. If you would rather not use WhatsApp, email or call us instead. We also rely on ordinary service providers for hosting, email and website analytics; they may process data on our instructions and are required to keep it confidential.

9. Cookies and analytics

This website uses only the cookies needed to make it work, together with basic analytics to understand which pages are read. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to identify you. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

10. How long we keep information

Client files and related records are retained for as long as needed for the matter and afterwards for the period required by professional, tax and limitation rules. Enquiries that do not become matters are kept only as long as needed to deal with them and for our conflict-check records, and are then deleted.

11. When we share information

We disclose information only where it is necessary to act for you — for example to counsel we brief, to a court, tribunal or opposing party as part of your matter, or to an expert we engage with your knowledge — or where we are compelled to do so by law, by a court order or by a regulator. We do not share your information with anyone else without your instructions.

12. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information in our custody, including access controls and secure storage. No system is completely secure, however, and information sent over the internet travels at your own risk.

13. Your choices and rights

You may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it — subject to the records we are professionally and legally required to keep. You may also withdraw a pending enquiry at any time. Write to us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable period.

14. Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 except as part of a matter instructed by a parent or lawful guardian.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practice or the law changes. The revised version applies from the date shown at the top of this page, so please check it from time to time.
